Due to the complexity and detail that goes in to each illustration, it takes approximately 10-12 minutes to complete one illustration based on a maximum of two people.

Due to the complexity and level of detail that goes in to each illustration, it will not always be possible to complete illustrations for all of your guests within the package time frame. As each package has an estimated time frame, we offer a complimentary studio session to complete remaining illustrations included in the package that were not completed during the event. These will be completed at Petal & Portrait HQ and posted to the bride & groom within 6 weeks post wedding at no extra cost. We can also prepare a VIP list to prioritise your closest family & friends' illustrations before your other guests if you have opted for a package with a small time frame, or if budget doesn't allow the entire party, please get in touch to discuss options. If there are more guests than time or budget allows, and you want more illustrations for your guests outside of the chosen package, don't worry! We offer an add on service of studio time (£100/hour which includes 5 x A6 illustrations). Payment and completion of these illustrations can be arranged for after the event. We will take photos of the additional guests and finish their illustrations at Petal & Portrait HQ once the payment for the add on service has been received. Using alcohol markers, the illustrations are drawn on A6 300gsm premium card, with a touch of glitter, and presented in a protective sleeve. We also provide a complimentary frame for the A5 bride & groom illustration.

Yes, absolutely! Personalised details, such as the bride & groom's surname and date of the wedding, are a special addition to the illustration. If you would like to request this add on to your package, the illustrations of your guests will all be A5 format as a larger scale is required to fit the writing and illustration. Absolutely not! We will begin to take photos of your guests on arrival, where they will pose for a quick snap, and then they are welcome to watch or party on and continue to enjoy your special day. Once the illustrations have been completed, your guests are welcome to return and collect their portrait.

Get in touch via our contact page to enquire about our packages, date availability and to reserve your date with a deposit. We will then discuss the requirements for your event, date, timings, venue, number of guests and any other special requests. Full payment will be required 6 weeks prior to the event to secure the booking.

Step 1. We will arrive at the venue 45 minutes prior to the event and set up and prepare for the day ahead. Our table display will be clean, elegant and clutter-free with an easel positioned to the side, guiding your guests through the simple steps of getting their illustration. Step 2. We will photograph your guests as they arrive and begin the illustrations. Step 3. Working from photographs means your guests are not obliged to stick around, and the party can go on! Amy will begin to illustrate your guests from the photographs, while Rich will continue to interact and photograph your guests. Step 4. For the bride & groom illustration, we will come and find you throughout the day to take a quick photograph. This can be done first as priority, or if you would prefer, it can be completed in studio time and sent to you after the wedding. Step 5. Once the glitter has had time to dry, we will begin to display completed portraits in their protective sleeve, ready for your guests to collect. Step 6. Each carefully curated illustration is now ready for your guests to collect and take home, the perfect keepsake to remember your beautiful day! Step 7. Once we have completed the agreed package timeframe and illustration quantity, we will begin to disassemble the pop up and arrange for the remaining illustrations to be put in a safe and secure location within the venue, so your guests can continue to collect them throughout the event. For the setup, we will require a table and two chairs positioned close to a wall, with a power source and good lighting. We will liaise with the venue to set this up in advance, so you don’t have to worry about anything on your special day. We will bring everything else!

We're based in Staffordshire & travel countrywide for events. No travel cost within a 20 mile radius of ST19. Travel costs apply to venues outside of the 20 mile radius + £0.50 per mile. Events over 50 miles, travel expenses and accommodation will be factored into cost. We're available to cover events outside of the UK, and we love to travel for your big days and corporate events! Once we have discussed and confirmed the details of your chosen package, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be required to reserve the date of your event. The remaining amount will be required 6 weeks prior to the event to secure the booking. The 50% deposit includes the total of your chosen package, travel expenses (if applicable) and any add on's or special requirements. Please note: Once we have discussed and confirmed your booking, the 50% deposit on the invoice is required within 5 days to secure your event date. Payments can be made securely via bank transfer or cash payment can be arranged if preferred (details will be on your invoice).
